Printmaking and painting in the Welsh marches

I’m Helen Arthur, owner and fine art painter and printmaker at Skirrid Studio. I’m daftly passionate about art and would love to show you more. The studio and gallery opened again on 12 April 2021. Come for 2:1 or 1:1 printmaking or drawing lessons (Fridays or Saturdays) with social distancing and safety precautions in place.

Or pop in to view my paintings in the home gallery room

You can buy my prints online at Etsy, or commission a special artwork for a loved one, or buy vouchers online.

More about the studio…

Check out photos of the studio, and meet Dolly, our A1 traditional printing press. She’s the star of the printmaking show. I take art on the road and regularly run workshops in Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. It’s especially wonderful to encourage kids to have a go at printmaking. I offer sessions as birthday parties too. My blog will tell you lots more – the photos speak for themselves.

    Hi Helen.
Been messaging each other on lino group page regarding the badger print. Please don’t take the print out of the frame unless it’s the only one available.
It doesn’t have to be that spacific edition, just that colour way. If you could send me pictures if s couple available and I will get back to you.
    Regards Juliet
